Dogs in the back seat tend to slide into the footwell, pace, or try to climb forward. This hard-bottom back seat extender lays a stiff board across the gap between the back seat and the front seats, so the whole area becomes one flat, covered platform.
- Flat, firm base. A honeycomb board under the cover bridges the footwell instead of sagging into it, which is the difference from a fabric hammock.
- Covers the seat and the floor. Waterproof 600D Oxford fabric on top keeps hair, mud and scratches off the upholstery.
- See-through mesh window. Your dog can see you, and you can see your dog.

Made for back seats about 54 in wide or wider. Measure the width of your back seat and the distance from the back seat to the front seatbacks before you order. This is a comfort and seat-protection product, not a crash-tested restraint. Use it with a crash-tested harness, crate or carrier.

Will it fit my car?

Hammock or hard bottom?
A hammock is fabric, so it dips into the footwell under your dog's weight. This extender has a stiff board, so the seat and footwell become one flat surface.
Is it a safety restraint?
No. It gives your dog a flat place to lie down and protects your seats. For restraint, use a crash-tested harness, crate or carrier. Pet-safety groups warn against long extension tethers.
Can people still sit in the back?
Not while it's installed. Unclip it and fold it away when you need the seats.
How do I clean it?
Wipe the fabric with a damp cloth or vacuum the hair off.
